How to build

Sailboat

  • Use 1 DC motor and a driverail for the movement (join the boat excentrically so that it would sway)
  • Join 1 Touch sensor and 1 Buzzer to the robot
  • The boat should be moving while the Touch sensor is pressed
  • The Buzzer should give sound when the boat stops

Cathedral

  • This figure is static
  • Use 3 LEDs and 1 Buzzer
  • The LEDs should be lit one after the other while the Buzzer gives different sounds

How to build

Sailboat

  • Build the boat on 1 DC motor that can move along a driverail
  • Use 1 servo motor for moving the sail and 1 for swaying
  • Use 1 Touch sensor to make the boat move forward and 1 to make it move backward while the Touch sensor is pressed
  • The Buzzer should give sound when the boat stops

King Alfonso

  • Build the cathedral
  • 3 LEDs and 1 Buzzer should work the same way as at P2
  • The door should be opened with a servo motor
  • Build the figure of King Alfonso II
  • Use an IR Photoreflector near the door
  • When the IR Photoreflector senses that the King is approaching the cathedral, the door should open

How to build

Sailboat

  • Build the boat (like in P3), the sea, and the cathedral on the coast
  • Join an IR Photoreflector to the cathedral
  • The boat should give a sound with the Buzzer and start to move towards the cathedral like in P3 when a Touch sensor is pressed
  • It should stop when the IR photoreflector senses it
  • After waiting for a random amount of time, the LED should blink and the boat should return to the starting point

Puppet show

  • Build a scene to represent the way of the sailboat to the Iberian Peninsula – sea, seashore, cathedral
  • Build the boat joined excentrically to 1 DC motor
  • The boat should begin to move when a Touch sensor is pressed
  • Add LEDs and program a light show in the cathedral
